Since May of 2000 Greg Vann Nissan has decided to do things differently, defying industry standards in order to improve customer satisfaction. Greg Vann built the company with every process intended to make the experience more pleasant and easier for the customer. Ideas ranged from non-commissioned sales staff, and having key management paid on high customer score. This has earned Greg Vann Nissan numerous awards. From 2001 through 2006, Greg Vann Nissan of Cambridge was awarded the prestigious President’s Award of Merit. In 2004 the dealership was recognized globally. Nissan honored the business with the Nissan Sales and Service Way. This award is only presented to one Nissan dealership in the country each year. In 2011, the dealership received Nissan’s Award of Excellence. It is important to point out that these are not simply awards for sales volume; they are in recognition of a high level of customer satisfaction. In a Cambridge Times reader poll, Greg Vann Nissan has won Best Business Service for Used Car Dealership, New Car Dealership, Import Car Dealership and Auto Dealer Service.

While customer satisfaction and retention are the end goal the dealership constantly strives for, they are aware that this wouldn’t be possible without their excellent staff. This outstanding staff all have their own achievements worth bragging about. Many within Greg Vann Nissan have been individually recognized by Nissan Canada. Almost 30 individual awards have been handed out by Nissan Canada to the staff of Greg Vann Nissan. The employees of Greg Vann Nissan enjoy the fresh approach to business. Almost a third of the staff has been working at the dealership for 10 years. Positive consumer experiences begin and end with the interactions they have with the individuals at a business. This is why Greg Vann Nissan finds it so important to have the high caliber people they have working for the customer. The staff at Greg Vann Nissan are continuously taking courses to stay one step ahead of the curve, so they can offer the most accurate and up-to-date products to their customers. Greg Vann Nissan has always been at the forefront of technology. To save valuable time for their customers they installed the first Nissan Rapid Express Service Lane in Canada. This express drive-in service bay allows oil changes to be completed in about ten minutes. Much of the basic maintenance a vehicle needs can be accomplished through the lane without the need for an appointment. The express lane is also capable of performing tire rotations, brake inspections, tire repairs, multi-point inspections and switching from summer to winter wheels. The express lane can also replace air filters, wiper blades and lubricate necessary hinges. In addition to the Express Lane, there are an additional 12 service bays. All of the service mechanics have been appointed as Nissan Certified Master Technicians. This is the highest level recognized by Nissan. For repairs or services that require an appointment, the dealership offers a complementary, region wide shuttle service. For those that choose to stay, the dealership has a comfortable waiting area just off the showroom with Wi-Fi access to high-speed internet. To better serve their customers, Greg Vann Nissan extends their award-winning service and express lane to all vehicle makes and models. In front of the showroom, the dealership has an inventory of 150 new vehicles and 40 used vehicles. Many of the vehicles Nissan offers have been completely redesigned with comfort, safety and efficiency being main focal points. Within the Nissan lineup the Versa Sedan, Sentra, Altima and Pathfinder all have best in class fuel ratings. One of the best received features in the Nissan lineup is their Continuously Variable Transmission or CVT. It is offered in all models except their trucks and sports cars. This transmission is one of the sole reasons Nissan has some of the most fuel-efficient vehicles around. The CVT is designed with over 150 less moving parts than a traditional transmission and has no scheduled service interval. The most noticeable improvement of a CVT over a traditional transmission is the absence of “shift-shock.” When driving there is no delay while the transmission searches for the next gear. This eliminates the surge of the vehicle when a shift would normally occur in a geared transmission. The CVT truly needs to be experienced to fully appreciate how it works.
